Inpatient Stabilization
Acute Inpatient Stabilization
• Location: St. Luke's Hospital - Detoxification Unit - Clark 6
• Drugs: All
• Length of Stay: Three to seven days (average)
• Admission Criteria (one or more of the following):
      Moderate or high risk of severe withdrawal
      Outpatient detoxification contraindicated

Inpatient Dual Diagnosis Detoxification
• Location: St. Luke's Hospital - Detoxification Unit - Clark 6
• Drugs: All
• Length of Stay: Four to eight days (average)
• Admission Criteria
      Primary substance dependence diagnosis
      Secondary psychiatric diagnosis
      Moderate or high risk of severe withdrawal
      Outpatient detoxification contraindicated

Sub-Acute Inpatient Stabilization
• Location: Roosevelt Hospital - Inpatient Unit - 9G
• Drugs: All
• Length of Stay: Three to seven days (average)
• Admission Criteria (one or more of the following):
      Minimal risk of severe withdrawal
      Unlikely to complete outpatient detoxification and continue treatment
      No acute medical or psychiatric problems

Outpatient Detoxification
• Location: Roosevelt Hospital - 8th Floor
• Drugs: All
• Time: Usually two to five visits
• Admission Criteria (one or more of the following):
      Minimal risk of severe withdrawal
      Likely to complete detoxification and continue treatment
      Supportive home and social environment
      No significant medical or psychiatric problems
